Very intense!

Words can't describe how much I love this track. But I do have one question: what's the time signature in the beginning? You don't hear enough odd time signatures these days!

I hate to plug myself, but do you think you could check out my tracks from this year? I'd love to hear your thoughts. =)

Higgins667 responds:

thanks allot! I will definitely check out your music now and review a couple :) and as for the time signature, it is odd.

You have a talent for composition.

I really loved your music. The only thing that I think needs work is good equalization of all the tracks so it has a more balanced sound.

But, my headphones are broken so it could just be me. =)

Anyways, I really enjoy it, it's catchy, and I just uploaded a new track myself and it would be great if you told me what you think.

SirKoto51 responds:

i agree, i think that the bari saxshould be a little louder and that the percussion could be a little less forte. Sure thing I'll comment on you're composition.

Awesome.

This needs to be featured in a flash game. I am in 100% agreement with DeceasedTech. Minimalism at its best.

Check out some of my stuff

Anyone who wants to use this song in a game should go ahead and do so (permitted it isn't making any money... if it is we can talk)! I'd love to see it in a game.

Thanks for the review and scores!

Intense.

That was pretty damn awesome man. The drums are a little overpowering, and the song in general sounds a bit muddy. Filtering out the really low frequencies will help with that. Oh, and I also really like the ethnic drum break in the middle!

Keep it up, I know how annoying it can be to get good sounds out of Garageband since I use it too. Mess around with the multiband compressor and graphicEQ to get some good sounds.

And if it's not too much trouble, check out some of my stuff! =)
Once again, keep up the good work.

Thanks for the positive review and good advice! I agree the track is a little muddy, i just didn't know how to fix it, I guess now i do.

Pretty cool

Awesome start. I was hooked immediately. I just think that it's a bit jarring when you shift the focus of the music, i.e. around 0:56-0:57.

Keep going, you have awesome talent!

I see. Thx for the cool review. :)

Very nice

My only gripe is that it felt like it was always building up to some awesome hardcore trance goodness.... but then the goodness never came. =(
But that's just a stylistic bias that I have. Keep on being awesome!

linkbryan1126 responds:

yeah a friend of mine said the same thing, i may add to it

what i really wanna do is make one of those like, hour long trance songs, that would be amazing

Nice.

This is a freaking awesome dark dance song that has freaking awesome composition. But tone down the bass! Some of those percussion sound effects need some toning down, too. A few minor touches in addition to the ones I listed, and I'd give this a 42/10.

Darren-M responds:

thank you so much for the review, your advice helps

Not much, you?

It was alright. Unfortunately it's very repetitive, and I'd say you need to spice up the drums a little with some more unique fills, but props for treating my ears to something entirely new. You've definitely got something awesome if you build it up a little more.

FattyOPatty responds:

I would be more than happy to heed your advice, but I have the demo version of Fruity Loops, so I can't save my projects. I was ready to put more work into this one until my computer shut down on me. Thank you for your feedback, though. Hopefully, I'll get the chance to perfect one of these someday.
